Every weight we stock, with what it costs today, what we would pay to buy it back, and the one figure that decides whether a purchase makes sense: the round-trip cost. Printed before you walk in, not negotiated after.

Type an amount and every line below will tell you how many pieces it buys and what is left over. Nothing is sent anywhere — the arithmetic happens in your browser.
Prices update with the world market through the day, so treat the result as today’s indication rather than a quotation.

The Egyptian gold pound is a traditional denomination sold by weight: a full pound is 8 grams of 21 karat. We trade only certified, hallmarked coins from recognised producers, sealed and with their certificate.
Under every piece you will find two numbers most shops would rather you did not compare.
Making charge as a percentage of the metal. On a quarter-gram bar the workmanship costs more than a tenth of the gold inside it. On a hundred-gram bar it is around one percent. The metal is identical; what you are paying for convenience is not.
Round-trip cost. Buy a piece and sell it back to us the same day, sealed, and this is the percentage you lose. It is the honest measure of what a purchase costs you, and it falls sharply with size. If you are buying gold to hold value rather than to give as a gift, this is the number to read first.
Both are calculated live from the same price sheet and the same published fee schedule that the tables above use. We are not rounding them in our favour.
Look again at the third column. On certified bullion we pay more than the metal is worth by weight — EGP 28.5 extra per gram on bars, EGP 24 on coins, provided the factory seal and certificate are intact.
That premium is real and it is the practical argument for bullion over jewelry as a store of value: a worked necklace carries a large making charge you never see again, while a sealed bar returns most of what you put in. Keep the packaging — the fourth column shows what opening it costs you.
